What a day this was here in Springfield and Fairfax Virginia! I got to experience a tea ceremony for the family which is a blessing from all the family members to the bride and groom!
The tea ceremony and the wedding ceremony were at the First Baptist Church in Springfield. The reception was at the Marriot in Fairfax, Virginia.

About the Couple: Ben and I met sophomore year of college at Virginia Tech on a campus ministry retreat. We basically remained acquaintances until the following year. We both attended the same campus ministry events which led to more hang outs with shared mutual friends. We eventually became close friends and then dated our senior year. After graduating, we maintained a long distance relationship while I attended optometry school in Alabama for 4 years. In total, we dated for 6.5years. Through those years we had been there for each other’s milestones in school and careers, health scares, deaths, and joyful events. We knew early on we wanted to marry each other but it was a matter of God’s timing. We were each other’s first relationships and are so excited to be finally married!
