Ice cream say what?!
Back when my family was stationed in Seoul South Korea we spent the first summer there day tripping to unique ice cream shops in Seoul. Since it’s so hot outside right now I decided to bring back that adventure of ice cream hunting here in NoVA/DC.
Today I took my kids to a new place called Nice Cream in Alexandria, Virginia.

What is Nitrogen Ice Cream?
The science behind the freeze
Rapid freezing of the mixture. The liquid nitrogen causes the fat and the water particles to stay very small, giving the ice cream its creamy consistency. The goal is to avoid ice crystals – similar to what you get when you make ice milk.

It was SO cool to watch all the steam floating! My oldest son was amazed by it!

It was so good. The ice cream tastes light and creamy. You can tell it is very freshly made verses ice cream from the grocery store!

My oldest got milk chocolate. My oldest boy got blueberry lemon. My youngest boy got milk chocolate.
